This list is very much to my taste and I agree with most of the entries. The only objection being Lisa Hannigan. I fancy her quite a lot but if I manage to post my 30 best by the end of the year the only two Irish albums that will make it to the list are Autamta's "Colours Of Sounds" and Pugwash's "11 Modern Antiquities".

It's pity that no Irish album was enlisted in the major magazines' top albums of the year. Let's hope that U2 will make up for it next year.
